I think, if she made more, that the books wouldn’t be as strong as the three already are. Plus, there isn’t much she could continue with. Maybe just Katniss and Peeta’s life, but there’s not much to say about it that she already did. Or maybe she could create another one where a person starts to form the life before the rebellion again. She could maybe make one about Katniss’s daughter and some sort of thing like that. BUT STILL, I THINK SHE SHOULDN’T MAKE ANYMORE HUNGER GAME BOOKS. ITS STRINGER AS A TRILOGY. plus it may start getting annoying or pathetic (which I doubt it would…but after 10??…….)

its not that she needs to keep on with the series its that she needs to make a new series 3 books about how gale felt in the first book and what kind of pain he went through second book should be also about gale and katniss and peeta but the 3rd book should be about katniss getting a letter from gale saying come meet me in district 2 address…… she comes to meet him and he tells her every single thing that happens while she was gone then tells her he still loves her has been living in pain for so many years he almost goes crazy sometimes then something like gale attaking peeta. peeta gets away then the rest is up to suzanna

I had an idea yesterday I would love to ask Ms. Collins about. In their circumstances, Katniss and Gale are almost identical twins, coming from the same lot in life. And they have the common goal throughout the series of ending capitol control over the districts. But they have very different approaches for how to achieve that goal. Gale, more direct and violent (physical). Katniss more manipulative and more willing to engage the capitol in keeping people alive. I have to wonder if she was making a statement about the way males and females differer in conflict resolution. There are some parallels to research on the subject, but I am wondering if I am reading too much into it.

I would ask her, why did she use a character like Katniss? I would also ask her about Finnick and Annie’s love story. And what happened to Johanna Mason. Are you considering on writing extra books about the hunger games? take for example a ‘hunger games survival guide’, a book about the lives of each tribute, the effects of the games on the victors, an in-depth explanation on the new panem government and peeta and katniss’ association with them, or further details on their restoration (how they grew back together, did peeta and katniss still live off their winnings? , what happened to johanna, annie, gale)

i can understand prim’s death, even if i don’t like it, and i know we can’t choose who dies and who doesn’t in war. it is very cruel but a lot of people survives. finnick could have been one of those and she killed too many favourite characters. i just say that she could have let AT LEAST finnick to live.

I want to ask Suzanne Collins if she read Battle Royale by Koushun Takami and if it was one of the works she was inspired by.
It’s another dystopian novel but it’s a what if situation in which if Fascism won WWII and it takes place in Japan where to relieve feelings of fear of possible rebellion, individual classes from individual schools are selected to participate in a battle to the death. Only one can remain and be “pardoned”. The fictional Japanese government thought it was best to eliminate what could be a threat when the kids growing up to rebel…
Though I think everyone’s seen the movie that was based on the book and its unsuccessful sequel.
