Exciting news regarding the much anticipated second Hunger Games trailer! The Culture and Community Services branch of the Government of Alberta has classified the trailer (giving it a G rating) and revealed that is will be two minutes and thirty seconds long (the maximum length for theatrical trailers!

The ‘G’ Rating only applies to the film’s trailer– probably a move on Lionsgate’s part to ensure that it can run before as many films as possible (trailers rated above a G are limited as to which kinds of movies they can run with).

The timing of this revelation comes just weeks before the release of the first installment of the final Twilight film which has long been speculated to be a likely host of the first full-length Hunger Games trailer. Could we be only fifteen days away from getting our very first extended look at Panem?

What do you think about the timing and rating of the teaser? And what do you hope to see in the theaterical trailer? Let us know in the comments!
