NEW: Hunger Games Still, Effie, Haymitch and Katniss!

One thing I’ve learned from previous film adaptions, is I have to go in reminding myself it’s not the book, and not to expect all the minor details or the script to flow a certain way. Usually I avoid reading the book for weeks before the film arrives too, so I don’t have it all fresh in my mind to pick apart. Of course with helping to run the site, that is kind of impossible this time around, but from everything I’ve seen and heard even if they do make adaptions to make the film more cinematic, etc I know they must have a reason for doing it. Even if it’s just to make the actor feel more in character (as with Woody designing Haymitch’s look), or even changing the plot a bit (having Prim give Katniss the Mockingjay pin), all of those involved in the film have expressed how much the material, and in my heart I know they are taking care of our baby. And since we know Suzanne has “blessed” everything and was deeply involved in so much of the process, truly it’s her approval I care about most.
