Official YouTube for ‘The Hunger Games’ Transformed into ‘Capitol TV’
While making a routine stop on YouTube last night, we noticed that the Official YouTube Channel for The Hunger Games had undergone a major transformation. It seems to have been completely immersed into the world of the Games as it is now dubbed Capitol TV, showcasing videos that are officially sanctioned by the government of Panem (aka trailers and tv spots)..
There is also a way for Citizens to have their video featured as well, just tag your upload with CapitolTV and it may appear on one of the pages of the District Citizen Reel.
And of course the page also features a link to the ever present Capitol.PN. So, citizens can keep track of the official activities of Panem.
We say it again and again, but we absolutely love the immersive strategies Lionsgate has taken promoting the film to fans and newcomers alike. What do you think about the Capitol taking over YouTube? Let us know in the comments.
