Amidst all of the press for “Rampart,” Woody Harrelson’s latest film to be released, our Haymitch sat down with Comingsoon.net for a brief interview. After diving head-first into the plot of “Rampart,” the interview comes around to– what else– “The Hunger Games.”
CS: How have you been dealing with all the “Hunger Games” madness? Have you experienced that or have you been fairly isolated from it while working?
Harrelson: Yeah, to some degree. There is a lot of excitement about it. I definitely get a little taste of that, and I think it’s great. I don’t know, because I haven’t seen it, but I would almost guarantee it’s going to be great.
CS: You’ll have a new fanbase of teen girls seeing your movies if they like how you play Hamish (sic).
Harrelson: Yeah, just my kids. If they see it and like it, I’m psyched.
We can only assume that by “Hamish,” the interviewer meant our favorite lovable drunk over in District 12. It’s great to know that the actors are confident about how the film will turn out, even without seeing it!
How about you? Will you be part of the “fanbase of teen girls” seeing Woody’s movies, or does the interviewer have the wrong impression altogether of the “Hunger Games” fans? Let us know in the comments– and remember, “Rampart” is being released in selected theaters this Friday, February 10th.
