Your Help is Needed for the Next Airtime Assault, Let Us Know Why You Love Effie!

It’s time for another Character Assault, this time we are featuring District 12′s fashionable Escort, Effie Trinket!
We previously have featured Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Haymitch and Cinna in our Airtime Assaults detailing all of your thoughts on what it was about them, that make you love them as a character.
Now, we want to know what it is about Effie, that makes you care for her and here’s the tricky part it needs to be in 5 sentences or less! We know it’s hard, but we know you can do it, too!
If you want to participate, please email us your 5 sentence Effie breakdown to downwiththecapitol@gmail.com and put the subject as “Effie Assault.” Please include your name and twitter account if applicable.
To be considered for use in the Airtime Assault, your sentences need to reach us by 9 pm ET on this Thursday, February 16th.

I love effie because in the books she likes to fix people and think just a bit of manners could completely change a person. I love that shes insecure about people seeing whats under all her makeup. i also love that she pretends to hate all the district 12 tributes but i think she really did secretly like katniss and peeta.

i love effie because she is so naiive. like the whole thing with coal into pearls, or how upset she gets when katniss snaps at her.

I love Effie’s manners! She is so organized and I aspire to be like that! Man, I love the Capitol! The citizens are way clueless! Gotta love the comic relief!

I love Effie because she is so funny and cool as she tries to do her job!! She truly cares for Peeta and Katniss and does her best to help them, even though it is in a very quircky way
Effie’s love for manners and promptness gets Katniss and Peeta wherever they need to be as well as helping them present themselves (mainly Katniss) before the cameras, but she does it in such a way that it makes you laugh…I don’t think it’s possible to truly hate Effie! She also has a enough determination to put up with Haymitch and get Peeta and Katniss what they need with her funny manner.

I love Effie because of the relationship she builds between her and Katniss and her and Peeta. I think that she really cares about them and really looks out for them. I also love her because in a way she is simple minded and doesn’t look for the negatives in a situation, only the positives.

I love Effie because of her innocence and cluelessness. The way she walks, talks, and acts is so perfect down to detail. As disgusted as she might be by District 12 she truly makes an effort to help Katniss and Peeta through the Games. This truly makes me love her because she’s devoted to the tributes yet, at the same time enjoys the Games.
