Kristen Stewart Wouldn’t Mind if ‘The Hunger Games’ Snags Best Kiss

The MTV Movie Awards are this Sunday, and one of the biggest questions is can The Hunger Games stop Twilight from winning a 4th consecutive Best Kiss award.  It’s definitely a tough battle in the trenches of voting, we’re sure, but one Twi-star would be happy passing on the kiss baton to Jennifer and Josh.

While doing promotion for her new film, Snow White and The Huntsman, Kristen Stewart was asked about the “battle” for best kiss and her thoughts on her competition with The Hunger Games cast.  As it turns out Kristen would be fine not winning this year.  (Note you can watch a video of the interview here, it’s unfortunately not embeddable)

When asked if she had any fighting talk for Jennifer and Josh, Kristen told MTV.co.uk: “I don’t know. For the last few years it was ‘The Twilight Show’ and it was bizarre and this year’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be like ‘Oh good, something different! Please God, something different’.

“I would love to see them go up there and I would love to see how someone else dealt with it to be honest. It’s like ‘are you gonna do it?’, ‘are you gonna give it to them’.”

She added: “If we didn’t win, I would actually be stoked to see like how it all goes down and how they handle it.”

We’d love to see how they handle it too, Kristen.

Voting ends in most categories on Saturday, but there is still plenty of time to get more votes in for Peeta and Katniss smooch in the cave, as well as the 8 other categories The Hunger Games  cast is nominated in.
