Ofc the contest where you can win a trip like is not open to anyone outside the US, it’s never that, and it’s SO unfair!
Well, nothing to do about it, since it’s not befor enovember next year, i have more than enough time to save some money and travel to LA by myself so i can at least see the stars, or camp outside like someone did for the first movie.
But still, it is unfair that those super great contest are never open to us fans outside the US.

    I want!

  • Just pre-ordered the 3-disc deluxe edition from Target and now just saw this pre-order. I was hoping for a nifty steelbook but haven’t come across one just yet. I still believe Target still has the best looking set so far. The free pendant at Walmart is a nice touch, but I already own that same exact pendant. The VUDU extras sound cool, but it isn’t nearly as awesome as what is offered on the extra Target disc. Still, I may be tempted to pick this set up in addition to the Target one.

All I hope is that there won’t be tons of releases after this one. No special edition and then special ultra mega ultimate edition…like with all the Harry Potter stuff. I know that is inevitable, but hopefully it all won’t happen just months after these releases. I’m cool with years, but not double dipping just a couple months after the fact. I’m such a sucker sometimes. :p

I hope all Hunger Games fans out there manage to get the copies he/she wants! :0)

  • I don’t think that I’m gonna pre-order mine today because it seems like there is going to be a bunch of different copies and I want to see the best one (I would buy all of them if it were up to me, but I’m sure my mom wouldn’t be too happy if I kept asking her to take me to the store to buy the same movie lol) What is Lionsgate doing to us with all these different editions!?!

Actually compared to the way Summit handled New Moon this is wonderful! Summit had. Broken up the deleted, extended scenes, etc (the highest demand extras) over 3 different store DVD’s (Target, Walmart, Borders). They didn’t do that for Eclipse or BD1 because of the complaining thank goodness. So this has a few “exclusive” pieces but not as bad as that thankfully.

  • I think its a great idea… I’m going to enter right away..GO HUNGER GAMES!!!! WOOOO!!!

  • what is the extra content on the 3 disc target addition??

45 minutes of additional featurettes. If you click the word Target in the post it will take you to a description :)

  • Ok. I’ve thought about it and have come to the conclusion that none of these will give me everything I want. I would like the movie on both DVD and Blu-Ray with ALL the special features and bonus content. Maybe it will be released this way sometime in the future but I’m doubtful.

I recently purchased the DVD from Walmart and have been TOTALLY disappointed with the transaction. I have had to email walmart to get my codes for the sweeps and the promotional video download (which still does not work) AND my DVD has still not arrived…
