Lots of great reminders for you today! Check out how you can support the Cast, as well as learn more about a piece of Hunger Games History.

Synopsis via Hickory Record:Henry River Mill Village stood in as the home district of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, who end up competing in “The Hunger Games.” The movie, partially shot at the village, is based on a book trilogy by author Suzanne Collins. “Catching Fire” and “Mockingjay” are the other two books in the trilogy, with “Catching Fire” reported to start filming in the fall.Maddalena was at Henry River Mill Village in April filming the episode for tonight. He said the show will start off with a man in North Carolina who tells them he sold a lot of items, such as furnishings, that were used from the movie at auction.
Maddalena said the man was auctioning items as cheaply as $20 to $30, most of it going to antique dealers. He said someone could be sitting on a sofa used for filming the movie and not even know it. And because it was used for the movie, it would be worth a lot more than they likely paid for it, Maddalena said.
Maddalena and his crew then visit a company that offers “Hunger Games” tours and ends the episode in Henry River Mill Village in eastern Burke County. Where the shows host convinces the owner of the village Wade Shepherd to allow him to try to sell the property via sealed auction bid.
