Photos: The Hunger Games Takes Over the Times Square Toys R Us

Earlier today, we were alerted by our good friend Tara Bennett that Katniss and Peeta had taken over the Time Square Toys R Us to promote the upcoming DVD release. Now thanks to Janet aka @libraryladyj, we have some fantastic photos of the display. In one word….WOW!

Don’t know about all of you, but we think it is absolutely breathtaking and we can’t thank Tara and Janet enough for sharing with us!

PS: Janet also told us they had a small selection of the Katniss Barbie in stock! So, be on the lookout.

What’s a Katniss Barbie? Is it Barbie as a Hunger Games fan, dressed as Katniss? Or is Katniss one of Barbie’s buddies now? Can anyone imagine Katniss and Barbie as friends?

I got one and shes gorgeous. She has grey eyes like Katniss and a brown braid twisted to the front. she is dressed in Katniss clothes but her face looks more like barbie than Jennifer Lawrence. Im not really a doll collector but I love Katniss.
