Earlier today we posted a LQ image of Jennifer Lawrence on the Hawaiian set of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Now thanks to katniss-peeta.com we have HQ images of not only Jennifer on set, but our first look at Sam Claflin in the arena, as well as Lynn Cohen and her presumed stunt double All the photos are after the jump, to protect those who do not wish to be spoiled!

Finnick is wearing his gold bangle!!!!!!!!! I’m glad theyre putting that in the movie. All these pictures are making me go absolutely BONKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears that they wont be. I am not overly worried about it because besides the begining when Mags uses it to float its not used much and isnt important after they get off there pedestal.

Well behind the hair it looks like a stand in for Lynn Cohen who plays Mags.

I’m really confused by that, i think on the first picture it might be lynn cohen(mags), but on the other ones i belive theres a younger woman, like a stunt or something

What could the use of the ipad be for filming? Seems odd.
Anyway, these photos are amazing but I regret looking at them because now the surprise of the arena is sort of lost, but that’s my fault for looking.

Tablets are used to focus shots and the like. Many cameras and their settings can be completely controlled with a tablet. That way, the director of photography or whoever is setting the shot can actually be pretty far away and still set it up perfectly.
Also I totally know what you mean by regretting looking. I always get sucked in and then regret it later.

My best guess is that the absence of the pin will have something to do with what happens to Cinna in the launch room. Something like he was about to pin it on her but then… [super sad spoilers].
