To keep us excited (and drooling), Entertainment Weekly has released more stills from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. These reveal our first looks at Katniss and Peeta on the Victory Tour and Gale in District 12.
”These are kids growing up in war who physically, emotionally can’t love somebody,” says Jennifer Lawrence about the uncomfortable triangle between District 12′s battle-weary Katniss, Peeta, and her childhood friend Gale that began in The Hunger Games. ”Katniss thinks she can’t have a crush on a boy because she’s worried about survival every single day. And she can’t be a normal 16-year-old meeting her friend out in the woods and practicing kissing because that’s not the world that they live in.”
”Jen and Liam have amazing chemistry,” says director Francis Lawrence of his young stars. ”They have a nice moment right before Katniss is reaped that is the very first thing we shot. And then when Gale has been brought in from the whipping, that’s another really nice moment they have alone.” ”This the book where you have to understand the pull Katniss feels to both Peeta and Gale,” say producer Nina Jacobson.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . . did anbody notice how they said that gale and katniss share a moment together before the reaping what does that mean? they better not have messed up or i swear and gale’s about to be whipped i can deal with because obviously that is changed also haymitch talking with plutacher is a bad idea in my opinion but i guess i will deal

@Caitlin: Obviously Gale and Katniss are going to have a goodbye scene before she goes to the Quarter Quell. It would be really weird if they didn’t, don’t you think so?
I think that the conversation will probably consist of more than just Katniss replying to Gale’s question “And where would we be?” that they’dbe hunting every Sunday, because leaving it just like that would look pretty cold without Katniss’ thoughts to accompany it. She thinks she’s never going to see him again, I think it would be much better to have her voice some of her thoughts to him (e.g. in the book she thinks to herself that her life has been better for loving him, even though it’s in her “limited way” rather than the way he’d want her to, but doesn’t ever get to tell him anything like that).

but they didnt in the book well they sort of did but not really all they said was like we should have ran away it’s not to late then katniss was all like yeh it is or am i thinking of the time she got drunk with haymitch?! lol but they didnt say good

Everything looks pretty good so far but why is Peeta’s hair dark why is Gale’s light seems kinda awkward that they are switched.but about Haymitch Plutarch Katniss Prim and Mrs. Everdeen look pretty good. And Snow’s hair looks different not a bad change. Everything looks cool
