Whoa! Dogs. Things are getting serious up in D11. Also, why why why why did they change the peacekeeper’s outfits so much? I don’t understand it. I’m not necessarily opposed to the decision, I just *don’t understand.*

that’s because they hired a different costume designer

Scary! Re the costume changes: maybe there were always two kinds of peacekeepers– the good cops and the bad cops. Or, more probably, after the first riots whoever headed operations got ‘the axe’ and the new head tightened up the whole show with hardline shock troops sent in to replace the old peacekeepers who had ‘gone native’, becoming too friendly with those they are supposed to be controlling. The new uniforms would be part of the strategy to keep the peacekeepers from getting chummy.

I can understand. Perhaps the uniforms change as much as the Capitol fashion does =) And it is perfectly reasonable to assume different districts have slightly different peacekeeper uniforms, it may be that D12 has less modern one compared to more heavily guarded districts.

Also, they might be a different class of Peacekeeper…or, like Jason said, maybe the uniforms change as much as Capitol fashion does. Either way, I don’t think it’ll be a big deal.

Maybe the peacekeepers uniforms changed because they need more protection for the rebellion? That’s what I think.

I’m pretty sure the reason they changed the peacekeeper uniforms is because the rebellions have started (shown in D11 in the first movie) so the peacekeepers need better outfits to fight against the people

How could this be a spoiler. I don’t remember dogs in the second book but maybe I just forgot

Well, after some districts have broken out in riots, it is perfectly logical to me that the Capitol would upgrade the Peacekeepers uniforms
