Time for a new Question of the Week!
Last week, Lionsgate released 11 amazing Capitol Portraits of some of our favorite characters from Catching Fire, now we want to know what you think of them! (You can check them all out again here)
Which of the Capitol Portrait(s) are your favorites? Which did you like the least? And is there anyone you missed seeing?

Favorite= finnick! Least= none they were all amazing but i wish they would’ve had one for prim…

My favorite is Johanna by far. Her stare is amazing, and so is her dress and jewelery. Least favorite is Haymitch. His costume is a bit too casual for capitol garb in my opinion. Wish we could have seen Plutarch.

My favorite was Katniss for sure! I love everything about it! My least favorite was Johanna because of her hair. If her hair was diffrent she might have been my favorite. I really would have liked to see Mags because we haven’t gotten any official look at her yet.

My favorite is either Katniss or Johanna. They look amazing in completely different ways. Katniss looks like Cinna’s masterpiece while still looking completely panicked. Johanna, on the other hand, looks like she is ready to kill everyone all over again. My least favorite is Gale. I don’t understand why he is photographed as a Capitol portrait and I don’t understand why he is holding a rose. As I’ve previously stated, he’s not a victor so it doesn’t make sense. I know that Gale is an important role and that he is pivotal to the story, but his character should at least be represented accurately.

Can I say my favorite is a hybrid of 2 originals?! There’s a photoshopped pic with Peeta and Katniss together. I have to say I LOVE it. It works perfectly since he’s seated and she’s standing beside him. I liked Gale’s photo, but I’m not ‘sold’ on it because he has absolutely nothing to do with the Capitol. I didn’t like Cinna’s because I don’t think Cinna would dress in black leather – satin or silk, maybe. I wish Finnick didn’t look like a pirate, but aside from that distraction, I really feel like he captured the character. The expressions on Johanna, Katniss, Haymitch, Peeta, and even Gale’s face, speak volumes. I HATE Caesar’s hair. I appreciate the color change – I believe the book said it was lavender during the Quarter Quell – but the pink pony tail with a bow just doesn’t sit right with me.

I loved them all but to me Gale’s was the best he looked really good his facial expresson was amazing looked just like someone i imagined from district 12 i also loved Cinna awesome and of course Katniss but i do wish the had a picture of Prim

I have to say, I’m biased to Peeta, I love his portrait because he looked so darn handsome and as always Haymitch looked especially fitting in his drunken stooper. I have no complaints, although I would have also liked to see Prim.

Definitely Katniss! She looks stunning and that dress is amazing. A close second is Johanna. Her expression is so striking and she looks beautiful. I can already see that Jenna Malone is going to do a fantastic job as Johanna. I personally would have liked to see the other victors.

All except gale he was my lease one he was sort if out of place like he is no victor so why would they do that I mean give the guy his own chair not a victors but it is a good photo again oh and I wish they had more I just want more lol it could really be of anyone I just want more

least: They are all AMAZING.I liked how they put the mockingjay on katniss’s dress looks beautiful. Disappointed they didn’t have mags or prim.

Katniss and Finnick- Katniss because of the dress and Finnick because- well, who doesn’t love Finnick?? Also I love the kind if sexy pirate angle they’re pulling
However I missed one of Plutarch- it would be nice to have one of him. But since all of thé characters with portraits survive, I think the reason lots of other characters don’t have portraits is because they die in CF (e.g. Wiress, thé morphlings, Brutus etc.)
But I am insanely happy with these… And as much ad I hate white roses, I love their presence here!

I liked the johanna the best but I don’t have a least favorite wait does Katniss count or Peeta because if Katniss counted she would be my favorite

well, i gotta be honest, so here it is: i think katniss and peeta could wear paper bags and they would still be my favorite so there – however, make no mistake this is not due to francis lawrence, the costume designer or anyone else but josh and jenn. infact, i hate peetas boots, i dont like the botto of katniss’s dress or effies. and they should have photographed the stylists. not just cinna, but her prep team – and peetas stylist portia. im sorry but i have felt this one thing all the way since the begining- that francis lawrence is not doing catching fire, hes doing something he dreamed up while reading it – a new creation – i mean i can accept sam claflin now- but i still cant accept jeffrey wright. hes NOT beetee. And GALE is not a capitol portrait that shouldve happened- it makes no sense! and if he is but others arent – i mean its stupid. i fear the movie is going to be something completely different and not what we are looking forward to seeing- im not all negative though- im just as excited as everyone else- for real, i really am- but from the begining i was like “did this guy even read the book?” and seeing cesars hair, – theres no need fo rthat- its the little things that give the real feel – and it couldnt have possibly benefitted the movie so much to change it – its pointless but he changed it – it takes real feel of the book away – its completely DUMB! Now theres a new post with peacekeepers with search dogs? THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK! THEY NEVER HAD DOGS IN THE DISTRICTS – I MEAN WHAT THE HECK IS FRANCIS LAWRENCE DOING?? Its basically feeling to me like- he is not making anything even close to the book we read- but something new not the book but some thing he imagined in his head – a whole new thing – not catching fire.

Woah…chill out dude…or dudette…Caesar’s hair isn’t going to ruin the movies…and who’s to say they didn’t have search dogs in the districts? Just because the book doesn’t say it happened doesn’t mean it didn’t. Just chill a bit, and wait for at least a trailer…we’ve barely seen anything but costumes yet.

My favorite would probably be Katniss, mainly because of the mockingjay outline! And then Johanna, because she looks so elegant. Least favorite would be Beetee. His just felt so… awkward. Very disappointed they didn’t have Prim or Mags.

My Favourite is definitely Johanna Mason’s and Effie Trinket’s. My least favorite would have to be Katniss’s. I just did not like her dress in that shot, I do not know why.

Favorite was definitely Johanna’s. She looks perfect, done-up Capitol style, but you can still see the fierceness behind her eyes. Least favorite was Gale. There was really no reason for him to have a Capitol portrait other than for the fangirls. Missed seeing Mags and Wiress, definitely.

I have to pick two! Katniss and Peeta were both breathtaking! Katniss’ dress was beautiful with the hidden mockingjay and her state was so intense. And who couldn’t love the white rise that was held gingerly in her hand. Peeta was handsome as all get out and he looked even more mature now that he has won the hunger games. You can see in his face the intensity he now has for himself and katniss. But the photoshopped one if both Katniss and Peeta was flawless, amazing, beautiful, and everything in between. She looks like she belongs there and together they are special. I am so pleased with these portraits and it makes me even more excited for the catching fire release!!!!!!

Least is difficult, but i think it should be Johanna Mason, i thought she was blonde.
I have not seen Mags portrait, I don´t even know if she has one…

My main favorites are(sorry u just can’t pick one) Katniss, Johanna, Finnick, and unbelievably Snow. They are the ones that look really good. I like everyone else too.
Least favorite is Caesar. I don’t like his outfit AT ALL! I understand Caesar is apart of the Capitol but ew. No offense to the people who like Caesar but I don’t .

My favorite is probably Finnick if he was wearing different clothes because the portrait completely captures his character. I HATE CAESAR FLICKERMAN’S PORTRAIT! In Catching Fire, I believe it says he still has his midnight blue wig and lips. It might be lavender, but it is definitely not pink! He is not supposed to be a girl with pink hair and a bow; he is supposed to be in Capitol garnish.
