Rebel Wilson Says She Has “Had a Meeting” about a Role in a Hunger Games Film’
In a recent interview with BuzzFeed, Pitch Perfect’s Rebel Wilson, expressed her love not only for Jennifer Lawrence, but also for The Hunger Games films themselves. She went on to confess that she has even had a meeting about a role for a Hunger Games film, presumably Mockingjay!
Ah, so you’re a J.Law fan?
RW: Yeah, yeah, and I’ve met her. I met her at a party and she was super-duper nice. She’s really quite tall. Which I found — I don’t know if you get that impression when you see her in movies, but she’s quite tall. Yeah, and she’s just really nice and I love The Hunger Games and I can’t wait for the new one to come out.
Ooh, would we ever see you in a role in The Hunger Games?
RW: Um, seriously, I have had a meeting about being in The Hunger Games. Yes.
Oh! In what district?
RW: It was one of the people in the capitol. That’s all I’ll say.
That would be good. That’s a good choice.
RW: Yeah, because there aren’t a lot of roles open, because they’ve all already been cast, but that would be awesome. I’d love to be in The Hunger Games.

As we have no confirmation from Lionsgate on any potential castings for the final two films we’re going to keep this one in the rumor category for now.

Not trying to be rude but, really, if she is going to benin Mockingjay, i can honestly say that I can’t see her as anyone. She’s to big and needs to look like she is starving if she’s a rebel and the capitol doesn’t like big bellies!!!!! :/ sorry but don’t get me wrong. I’m a HUGE fan don’t dount that for a second and she’s a great actor but, no. Sorry… ;(

The people from the Districts are supposed to be skinny, except maybe from some of the wealthier districts. The people from Capitol can be anything. Not everyone is a TV presenter like Caesar so they may not all have a bunch of liposuctions, and with their unhealthy eating habits, I’d be surprised if there weren’t any overweight people.

I LOVE Rebel Wilson, she’s good in anything. I think she would make a great Tigris. Plus she already knows Elizabeth Banks from having worked with her twice

I don’t think anyone in District 12 is supposed to be that plump, and Delly lost some weight after ending up in District 13. And Rebel is too old to be convincing as a kid Peeta’s and Katniss’ age.

I don’t know if Rebel Wilson would be good in any of the movies. She is always in the funny, laughter kind of movies, not the serious, there’s a point to this movie. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the work that Rebel does! But I don’t know if she could play any person/people part in ‘Mockingjay’.
