Episode 34 of Hunger Games Fireside Chat will air live on Monday, November 21, at 10pm ET/7pm PT!
We can’t guarantee that we’ll top last week’s trailer episode, but we definitely have a very fun night planned!
- We’ll chat with two non-fans, Len and Anthony, about their reactions to the new theatrical trailer (and maybe convince them to read the books).
- In light of the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 1 this weekend, we’ll share our “big screen trailer experiences” and also examine the Twilight phenomenon as it relates to The Hunger Games: Why does the public/the media constantly compare the two series, when they’re so totally different? Will The Hunger Games surpass Twilight in ticket sales and popularity?
- At 10:30pm (or thereabouts), we’ll be joined by the authors of The Hunger But Mainly Death Games (they go by the name of “Bratniss Everclean,” but hopefully we can convince them to reveal their true identities to us).
- We’ll also interview S.D. King — the author of The Younger Games — and discuss Hunger Games parodies in general. Are they appropriate or not?You can chat with other listeners throughout the live show by using our hashtag #HGFiresideChat on Twitter! Episode #28 of The Hunger Games Fireside Chat airs LIVE at 10 pm ET/7 PM PT tonight. What will the panelists be discussing tonight? Read on to find out.
What do we have planned? Well…before we say anything, we’ll be talking to Amie about her miraculous run-in with longtime crush Josh Hutcherson. Amie has not been shy about revealing her affections for Peeta, which naturally carries over to Josh. What were the odds that she would actually bump into him — literally!? Let’s just say the odds were definitely in her favor.
So of course, we’re going to play a round of: What would you do if you ran into Josh Hutcherson?
And also…BUTTERCUP WATCH 2011! Make sure your cats are listening, because this is going to be better than tuna.
- We’ll kick off the rest of the show by sharing the latest Panem October-related news (as well as some advice to help you keep the odds in YOUR favor throughout the experience).
- We’ll weigh in on Woody Harrelson’s self-described “comedic approach” to Haymitch (if you haven’t yet seen that article, click here).
- Given that TheCapitol.PN‘s recently unveiled District 5 seal features the symbol for nuclear power, we’ll chat about the plausibility of a Panem run on nuclear energy.
- On a similar note, we’ll also discuss why District 13 was developing nuclear weapons before the Dark Days.
- We’ll conclude with Pick a Page and Cave, Marry, Kill. You can chat with other listeners throughout the live show by using our hashtag #HGFiresideChat on Twitter! We recommend TweetChat to easily follow along with the conversation.
Be sure to tune in LIVE and listen as we talk all things Hunger Games!
